Trujillo Family Trip to Santa Cruz and San Francisco, California

Family is everything no matter how big or how small at the end of the day they are what matters.  With Brenda’s family living in Northern California we like to try and visit as often as possible.  With Sammy we had no idea how this could go being a nine hour drive and all.  So we split the road trip into two days and stopped halfway in Bakersfield for the night before setting out bright and early to the Bay Area.  With family spread throughout we had a chance to visit many spots and put Sammy to the test.  Well needless to say he passed with flying colors on a few late nights in San Francisco and Santa Cruz.  We also had a chance to visit the beautiful Monterey bay for some delicious seafood.  Oh my I could have just moved in and lived off this tasty clam chowder and smoked salmon I had.  Santa Cruz was also Sammy’s first beach encounter and he looked so amazed at times like “what in the world!?”  Those chunky thighs and blue eyes and water for days is how we spent the afternoon followed by one of our favorite taco shops that make some delicious fish tacos!  Yes family and memories are what its all about and I couldn’t have asked for more the week we spent together.  Well maybe some more seafood by the bay!  But I’ll be back 🙂  Enjoy a look into our trip and I am looking forward to sharing much more as Sammy grows older!!

Sammy looking good in his shades at the Santa Cruz Boardwalk.  This little dudes expressions are too cool for school.  Not to mention those chubby cheeks LOL.  This is one of my favorite portraits from that day together.
