JW Marriott Wedding in Las Vegas.

All the way from New York City, Roxanne and Keith brought all their loved ones to Las Vegas at the JW Marriott for their wedding day. The JW Marriott was perfect for their celebration and as their wedding photographer I was so happy to see this large group of amazing people dance the night away. But it all started in Roxanne’s suite where the girls of Your Beauty Call started with some makeup and hair to get this Bride ready for her day. As Julie Reed Events set up the ceremony and reception ball room with elegant floral and linens, All the bridal party was putting the finishing touches on. As I got to know the families I saw how well they all got along and shared the same excitement for this union. I always love when I can see the true happiness on both sides for these two special people. I hope you enjoy a few moments throughout their wedding story as it was my pleasure to be a part of their wedding day and photograph some memorable moments.

One of my favorite moments from the wedding happened after the ceremony. As Roxanne and Keith walked down the aisle together both of their Fathers came together for a emotional and happy embrace. It was so unexpected and a great feeling to see how two different families can be so happy for these two lovebirds.

When I first meet a potential client for a wedding or family photo session one of the first things I try to bring up is that I love to be that photographer who captures moments in your life as you grow and your family grows. From a wedding day can soon turn into expecting your first child or adding on to your growing family. So when I hear of my brides expecting after their wedding day and get to capture important moments like maternity sessions and newborn sessions it always makes me happy. Alicia and Jan are one of those couples for sure! I got a chance back in 2010 to photograph their Wedding Day and had such a blast with their family and friends. About a year and half later I found out they were expecting their first child, a baby boy! So we set out to the Dry Lake Bed for her Maternity Photography Session. I think every woman who brings a child into this world has that glow and sense of passion for their unborn child in their eyes and I must say Alicia had this to a T. I knew that they would be amazing loving parents and I couldn’t wait to meet their little bundle of joy. Without further wait say hi to Aiden and his Mom and Dad.

Tasha and Tyler Couples Photography Session Portland Oregon.

Portland Photography Session.

Tasha and Tyler have to be the cuddliest cute couple out there. Although they are not engaged…. yetI can’t wait for they day that comes because I had such a blast with them this sunny Portland afternoon while we navigated through a gorgeous downtown Portland park for some beautiful portraits. Tasha the petite and bubbly girl had a few fun outfits that she rocked while Tyler looking very fit and comfortable in front of the camera made my job this day too easy. After a day together shooting a wedding inspired shoot I took them out for a couples photography session and was blown away by the end result. As we talked and got to know each other I learned more and more about them and future plans. I hope to catch up with them soon and would love to get them in front of my camera soon. For now enjoy our time together on this lovely day.

What I love about these stairs is that as many time Tasha and Tyler have been to this park they had never noticed this amazing staircase before. This is why I tell my couples during our photography sessions that I like to look in not so obvious locations and many times theres a little walk ahead of us but it pays off in the end. I swear this staircase although huge was hidden if you happened to glance over and not notice it between the big bushes surrounding it.
