Misty and Greg’s Couples Photography Session, Portland Oregon.

Are you in love?  Married, engaged or just have that special someone.  Well I am here to say that is all the best reasons to have a moment in your life captured then.  Misty and Greg are happily married and have been for several years.  Their love is unconditional and gets stronger every day.  Misty is a successful wedding planner of Luxe Event Productions in Portland Oregon and Greg is a successful entrepreneur himself and partner of Luxe Events.  These two are a power couple and have made great friends in their community while hosting bridal shows like Committed, Marry Me and the Luxe Bridal Event.  Needless to say these two are awesome and want to share their talents and passion with the world.  So it was my pleasure to photograph these lovely two on the Willamette River near downtown Portland for a couples session.  Summers are beautiful in Portland and we soaked up every minute of it before grabbing a delicious dinner together.  I will be photographing the Luxe ladies this month and look forward to showing you this gorgeous group of wedding design and planners soon.  For now meet the Damico’s a fun life loving and giving couple who I am very happy to know and have built a friendship for life with.

Bathtub Fun with Sammy 1 Year Old!

Sammy’s 13 Month Bathtime.

 

So crazy to think this little dude is 13 months old.  Oh and yeah his belated 1 year post will be up soon lol I have been slacking on posts for this crazy kid but I had to get this up right away!!  If you want to talk about a little baby who loves his bath time then Sammy is him.  With all his toys and ducks he just can’t sit still.  I look back and think about the days when I would take bubble baths and destroy the bathroom with puddles, as well as army men and toy cars all over the place.  Oh the imagination we had as children.  Now I step back and think what can this little guy be imagining and thinking of when he is splashing and playing with his bubbles.  Then of course as parents we get to do crazy and wild things to their hair and cover them in suds before we rinse them off.  Which they always love ha ha.  Well one thing is for sure Sammy loves his bath time and would stay in till he is all wrinkly if he could.  I love this kid so much and am just in shock how fast he has grown and the personality he has developed.  Stay tune for more from this little booger.

Vera Wang Wedding Dress | Hyde inside Bellagio Las Vegas, NV. Part 1

Vera Wang Wedding Dress Photography

One thing I love about photographing weddings besides the love story and emotion behind the couples day.  Is the fashion that a wedding can bring!  Every guest dressing up and looking good for their family and friends big day.  The ladies looking dashing and the gentleman sharp as can be.  So with the new era in amazing bridal gowns I have seen some dress that just amaze me and I can’t wait for the day when a bride in a wedding I photograph uses such a dress.  I have had my eye on some amazing Vera Wang Wedding Dresses from Couture Bride here in Las Vegas for a little while and wanted to organize a shoot to show the elegance of an alternative wedding dress.  Lavey a Las Vegas well know makeup artist and owner of Your Beauty Call wanted to be a part of not only the makeup but model one of these bridal gowns and I was happy to put her in the fabulous charcoal Vera Wang gown next to her Husband in an amazing John Varvatos black suit.  Naakiti Floral, one of Las Vegas’s well known and amazing wedding florists designed a few bridal bouquets for this shoot which were elegant and cutting edge for these dresses.  Special thanks to Hyde inside Bellagio Hotel for allowing us to shoot and use this wonderful nightclub as we pleased.  Here is part one of this fun shoot, hope you enjoy!
