Sammy is now 7 months old and without any teeth still! But he doesn’t let that hold him back from enjoying the yummy cuisine we provide. We enjoy making his food with our Baby Bullet and also homemade healthy recipes that he is beginning to enjoy. I can tell he has my appetite for food as he loves it all from vegetables to savory treats and even tofu! This morning Brenda whipped up some whole wheat pancakes and with giving sammy half a pancake with some banana it was an instant hit. Clinched tight in his chubby little hand he had this look in his eyes like OMG! LOL he is something else and despite his fussy phase he is in with what I am sure is teething and growing pains he cracks me up so much with his growing personality and facial expression. If you would like to share these yummy and healthy pancakes with your family here is the delicious recipe below. Enjoy them as these are Sammy approved!
PREPARATION:
Step 1
In a large bowl whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. In a small bowl whisk egg, Chobani and milk. (we used whole wheat flour!)
Step 2
Add yogurt mixture to flour mixture and use a wooden spoon to combine lightly.
Step 3
Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Lightly coat with cooking spray and pour about ¼ cup batter onto pan for each pancake, leaving space between pancakes. Cook until edges set and bubbles appear on surface, about 2 minutes. Flip to brown other side. Transfer to a large plate and repeat with remaining batter. Serve with maple syrup and berries.
